The winners of the 2015 North West Coaching Awards have been announced!

Recognising and rewarding quality coaching was the focus this week with the winners of the second North West Coaching Awards having been announced. Award winners were unveiled in various categories including community, children’s talent and hight performance coach of the year.

The awards, which were organised by the North West Coaching Network, allowed coaches from a number of different domains to be recognised for their impact on local sport. Each winner received their award in their club or community setting in-front of their participants, athletes or fellow coaches.

Michael Cooke, Coaching and Club Consultatn for Sport Northern Ireland said, "Its great to see the coaches being recognised. There are coaches across the country doing fantastic  work but they dont often get thanked or rewarded for their effort and commitment. The North West Coaching Awards are an excellent way to say 'thanks'."
