North West Coaching Awards

The North West Coaching Awards are for individual coaches who have shown outstanding commitment and achieved excellent results in a certain area or with a certain individual and/or group over the last 12 months based in the North West Region.

Have you ever had a coach who really helped or supported you in your local community or sports club? Well know there is a way to say thank you to that coach. Nominations are now open for the North West Coaching Awards. There are five awards including Community Coach, Children’s Coach, Young Coach (under 25) and overall Coach of the Year categories. This range of categories will allow coaches from a number of different domains to be recognised for their impact on local sport. The public can nominate in each of the 5 categories by visiting and completing a nomination form by Friday 30th January 2015. Nominations will be judged and shortlisted in March and the winners will be presented with their awards in their own club environment in front of their participants and athletes.

Recognising the great work that goes on sports clubs and communities across the province is an important element of the North West Coaching Network. The coaches who take to the field, track, pool or hall every week are our local heroes and we have the opportunity to say ‘thanks coach’ with your nomination.
