Sport NI Children's Coach Development Week 2014

As in each year since 2011, Sport Northern Ireland will host a Children’s Coach Development Week during the first week of September.  This year’s events will take place between the 1st and 4th of September in locations including Craigavon, Jordanstown, Kells, Derry/Londonderry and Dromore (Co. Tyrone).  The sessions available to coaches of children with themes ranging across the empowerment of children for creativity and responsibility, maximising skill development in games, creating habits in sport, initiating a coach to apprentice coach/teacher mentor relationship, and positive development of children through sport.  These will be delivered by a range of high quality speakers and presenters who’s biographies are available within the attached documents.

 

There will be a day dedicated to full-time/part-time coaches of children on Tuesday 2nd of September at the University of Ulster’s Jordanstown Campus from 9.30am to 3pm.  Information on this session including session titles and a link to book is available in the first attached document with this email.  Places are limited on this event, so book early to avoid disappointment.
