Fermanagh & Omagh District Council

The Fermanagh and Omagh District Council has been established as one of the eleven new councils introduced via the Local Government Reform Programme. These replaced the existing 26 District Councils on 1 April 2015

Coaching Ireland

Coaching Ireland has the lead role in the development of coaching in Ireland on an all island basis.  We will highlight the importance of quality coaching in developing our athletes and providing opportunities for participants.

Donegal Sports Partnership

Donegal Sports Partnership was established in 2001 and has a role in coordinating and supporting sport all across Co Donegal. Its key focus is to supporting initiatives which seek to increase sports participation especially among low participation groups in line with national objectives. Donegal Sports Partnership in a multi - sectoral organisation established as a limited company with representatives from all the key statutory agencies together with representatives from community and voluntary sector in the county.

 

Sligo Sport And Recreation Partnership

At Sligo Sport and Recreation Partnership our aim is to support increased participation in sport and active recreation throughout County Sligo. In achieving this we provide assistance in the areas of sports development, education and training and general information on sporting activities in Sligo.

Sport Northern Ireland

Sport Northern Ireland is the leading public body for the development of sport in Northern Ireland. The corporate vision is to promote "a culture of lifelong enjoyment and success in sport which contributes to a healthy, fair and prosperous society".

Strabane District Council

Sports Development in Strabane District Council is about creating opportunities for the people of the area to participate in sport and physical activity at their chosen level.  Providing a quality experience for all the residents especially the young people, women, people with disabilities, and those who have difficulties in accessing facilities is an essential feature of work of the Sports Development Unit.

Omagh District Council

Omagh District Council Corporate Plan 2011-15 has identified 4 strategic themes that will provide the framework through which the Council's vision for the future will be delivered.Under theme 3- Enabling an Active, Engaging and Healthy Lifestyle.

We aim to support the development of new and existing coaches within Derry City Council to underpin the delivery of sport across our area
For Clubs - Changing lives in sport for clubs
Derry City Council recognises that sports clubs, together with their volunteers and coaches, act as a sporting and social hub for the local community. In this environment the sports club creates opportunities for coaches, volunteers and members and allows people to enjoy and improve their sporting experience to the best of their ability.
For Volunteers - Volunteering in sport
Without volunteers sport would not be sustainable. Volunteers are essential to support local sports clubs for both children and adults.
